Well, after the success of our preliminary, we had a lot of work on our plates. We were scrambling to juggle both portfolios and blogs coupled with CAIE stress, so it's safe to say we needed to work ourselves to the bone. Both Zara and I also had a long list of complications which we had to work around, some of them including:

  1. Distance of Old Lahore from our homes

  2. The Holy Month of Ramadan (difference in timings + excessive heat)

  3. Chaperoning: who would take us?

  4. Ongoing mock exams and CIE preparation

  5. I had guests staying in my house so my parents were unavailable

  6. Clearing that same day to edit the video

I'm sure you can understand we were terrified of the approaching deadline with all the above complications, but because there was just too much to do and too little time. Zara texted me one day too, mentioning that she was now very stressed, but all I said to her was "no time to be scared - time to buckle down now" and now it was time to plan.

So, as Zara mentioned, the plan was pretty simple. We'd go in the morning, making sure not to spend too much time there and come back to my house to edit. Generally, both Zara and I weren't very stressed about taking too long since we were already familiar with our location, but still hadn't decided if we would reshoot or add to our pre-existing collection. We just knew we would want to improve on previously shot scenes, now having an improved and matured creative outlook and filmmaking ability. The order of shooting at locations depended on which gates we would enter from, but the plan was to go about it exactly the way we did for our preliminary task. At that time, back in February of 2024, we had maximised the use of said locations, but of course, with creative growth came ideas for those same locations so the goal was to follow the same path.

With that in mind, we decided on the plan around 8:00pm the night prior, and after asking our families and chaperone (Zara's mother), checking the location's opening/closing times once again, we were ready to shoot.
