So, the storyboard for our preliminary deifniftely looks like a joke- it's really not. But Sir mentioned that he wanted us to make a new one. Now challenge 1 was that our plan at least for the preliminary was to figure out what and where we'd shoot on the spot, so we didn't have a pre-planned storyboard to go on. This time 'round, we know the shots we want in particular and what to recreate, but now coming to challenge 2: we're absolutely horrible at art. I consider myself to be creative, but in no way can I draw anything remotely more real than a stick figure. So, umm, if we consider stick figures real art (I do - they're a lot of work), here's our storyboard...?

I thought it would be fun if I literally created a handful of shots - I only made a few - I cut each frame as a separate piece of paper so I'd arrange it in order as well. Drawing it was a task, but I got through it, bringing out the inner artist in me (she's closeted for a reason). I did the best I could, with the key shots drawn. I wanted to arrange them in order, which is what might affect the quality, but I've also made a gallery of each frame below.

Here's the individual frames, too:

These are the key shots from our video, as illustrated above:

  1. The establishing "Haveli" tracking shot

  2. Full shot setting the scene and establishing the location

  3. The shot with the flowers

  4. The climax of the video (running) - shift from good to evil of the dream

  5. Walking up the stairs (enclosed/trapped space)

  6. Running down the large elephant staircase

  7. The final shot of the dream sequence - frantically trying to escape
