When I was assigned to be the one to write the script, I thought, "oh, this will be easy!!", until I actually started working on it and realised it was not going to be easy at all. So I put off writing it until the day before the submission deadline. Hopefully the notion that we work best under stress will work in my favour and I'll come up with a wonderful script.
The first problem I encountered was the fact that we had decided that our film opening will not have any dialogues. I had not yet read any scripts that did not include dialogues. The first thing that came to my mind when i thought about films with no dialogues was "Charlie Chaplin". I rushed to look for a Charlie Chaplin script but was unfortunately unsuccessful in finding a good example.
The next best thing i could think of was the opening montage of "UP". With luck, I was able to get access to the script in order to study it. With that I got to work and this was the final thing I came up with : (click the photo to open our final script)
